My goal is to capture authentic moments as they happen and to deliver a product that tells a story about your family. I like to photograph families at their homes where children are most comfortable and parents can best tend to their needs, but I also love to meet at parks, playgrounds, beaches, or anywhere of your choosing. When children are free to play and be themselves, they are at ease in front of the camera - so the more fun the better! I provide a unique, stylish and fun approach to family portrait photography and I look forward to creating images that you will treasure forever.
My philosophy for photographing newborns is to take my time and capture the essence and beauty of your new family. In-home sessions are perfect for newborns because you have everything you need to care for your baby without worrying about leaving the house, and the resulting photos have a very intimate and personal feel. While I do ensure there are plenty of solo images of your newborn, as a lifestyle photographer I do not use fancy props or poses. I love capturing all of the impossibly tiny details of newborns - I can't get enough of those little noses, fingers, ears, and toes! In addition to at-home sessions, I am available for hospital sessions in northern NJ.
I love photographing babies as they learn how to sit, stand, roll, and play. Watching your baby's personality come to life is one of the most magical moments of parenthood, and it is an important time to document! These in-home sessions are laid back and fun, and the images are a great addition to your rapidly expanding collection of wall art! Celebrating a birthday? I love watching my littlest clients grow and change, and a birthday is the perfect time for a photo session. And yes, we can do a cake smash!
I will occasionally offer mini sessions which give clients the ability to update that family photo, celebrate a milestone, or get a great shot for a holiday card. Mini sessions are short in duration and typically include 5 high resolution digital files. Follow me on social media to be the first to know when these sessions are offered!

My typical sessions are about 60-90 minutes, depending on what each client is looking for. Newborn sessions tend to take quite a bit longer. I like to keep things relaxed and go with the flow! I rarely check my watch...my feeling is, if we're capturing great moments and everyone is happy, I will keep shooting!
Since each session is unique and may depend on seasonality, I will happily give you some wardrobe coaching that is specific to your session during our pre-session consultation.
The session fee includes my time and talent at a location of your choice for up to 2 hours and the professional editing of 30 to 40 images presented to you in a private online slideshow for sharing and ordering.
The session fee does NOT include print products or high-resolution digital files which are purchased separately, after you have viewed your gallery.
The session fee does NOT include any permit fees that may be required by the session venue.
The session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your date.
I am a huge proponent of displaying family photos in our homes. To that extent, I offer a wide variety of elegant and unique fine art print products, and I would love to help you create a custom collection to suit your style and budget. No, you do not have to purchase prints through me, but I would be happy to recommend the highest quality print lab available to you, to make sure that your images look great.
I would love nothing more than to create fine art photographs that you will hang on your walls for years to come. But, I know that we live in the digital age and we all want to share our photos on social media, as well as have peace of mind with a digital file backup. That's why when you order print products from me, the digital file is always included. Just want the digitals? I have a package for that, too!
